The 50% Iberian acorn-fed ham San Ingelmo comes from Iberian pigs raised in the Dehesas Valdelazarza in Horcajo Medianero and the Dehesa Navalcuervo in Palacios de Salvatierra near the Sierra de Béjar and Candelario.
This ham is made in a traditional way by the Ingelmo family who raise all their animals in the countryside of Salamanca. Iberian pigs that have enjoyed a large amount of acorns in the months of montanera.
