Aracena Ham and Picos de Aroche
The García Ortega family works with small farmers in the municipalities of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche, a perfect setting for the breeding of the Iberian pig. In the pastures of Cortegana, Aroche, Castaño del Robledo, Hinojales, La Nava, and other mountain municipalities, the Iberian pigs that supply their dryer are raised with care.
The orography and climate in Aracena allows to achieve a special curing of Iberian ham with a particular and recognizable flavor.
Ibercastaño Robledo is produced primarily 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham and 100% Iberian acorn-fed shoulder along with acorn-fed sausages.
